How to setup instant replay in OBS Studio
Using this hotkey you can still save replays normally, even with Instant Replays setup. 4. Now, close the settings page and start the replay buffer by clicking on "Start Replay Buffer" towards the bottom right of OBS Studio. 5. Add a new media source to the current scene, we'll call it "Instant Replay" for this guide, and select the Replay ...

How to cut a video in OBS? | OBS Forums
You could replay the video, and edit that, but like making a VHS tape copy, there is the generational resolution loss with each re-encoding so.. best option is to NOT use OBS for video editing (and many video editors would have similar image quality consideration) I believe what I came across in these forums was a pointer to AVIdemux, which is what I've used I'm not recommending any of those ...

Laggy/Choppy video after recording game. | OBS Forums
I was able to fix some of the issue by resetting OBS and using optimized settings for my laptop, is better but still a little choppy. And when I change scenes (in Minecraft from overworld to nether or vise versa) it's stuck for about a minute.

Merge Videos | OBS Forums
Any video editor will do it, and you can tell it exactly *how* you want them merged too. OBS can do this too, with a scene for each video, and you switch scenes at the appropriate time. The tradeoff is that you lose a little bit of quality because it has to uncompress each one, do the merge, and then recompress the result. Each compression loses its own bit of quality. Or if you *only* want to ...

OBS Replay Buffer won't record clips
I've just updated OBS and now replay buffer doesn't work anymore. I have it enabled. I have the directory on hand, it's not going to some unknown location. It just won't record clips. It'll record when I hit "record" manually, but it won't do replay anymore. Edit: It's only when I use the keybind that it doesn't record, specifically.

Question / Help - Is it possible to record without streaming using OBS
I found myself wondering if I could use OBS not to stream, but to "just" record videos locally on my computer, is this possible? As we can setup OBS to "save a local copy of our streams" I was thinking of using it as a record tool too, as it compresses and encodes vids very well IMHO. Thanks for any help gentlemen :) Jez.
